Our story...
of community and coffee began long before our first store unlocked its doors. June's journey traces back to her childhood in Vietnam. Family-owned coffee fields sparked her interest with the transformation of the red coffee fruit into the brew we all cherish. Following Saigon's fall in Vietnam, June and her family sought refuge in Guam by getting a seat on the last boat out. Eventually, June settled in California where she married her now husband and formed a family of four kids.
Driven by a dedication to community and service, June pursued a master's degree in audiology and dedicated over two decades to social work. As June served the community, she continued cherishing her love for coffee as a hobby. Exploring different beans became a delightful pastime, leading to home experimentation, and the eventual gift of a roasting machine from her supportive husband.
In the midst of nurturing a family of four...
June envisioned a space where her children and others could study and socialize. Marrying her devotion to family with her love for coffee, the inaugural Crema opened its doors.
Our pledge to cultivate spaces of comfort and belonging extends beyond our doors.
